Genesys Solutions is a student-run software development group and a division of epiGenesys, a wholly owned subsidiary of The University of Sheffield. We utilise the skills developed within our degrees in computer science, enterprise computing and software engineering to provide affordable software for our customers whilst we gain practical enterprise experience.
Alongside the opportunity to work on real projects, we undertake business and technical training provided by epiGenesys and industrial mentors. Our work forms part of our degree programmes within the Department of Computer Science, and the results provide a significant proportion of credits towards our degree classification.
We specialise in the implementation of web applications, and our services are particularly suitable for the development of small information systems and software prototypes. We have worked with a number of small businesses and charities, and several groups within the National Health Service and The University of Sheffield.
